TV Network Airs Melania Trump’s Nude Photos After Trump Wins Reelection
A Russian state TV channel sparked controversy by airing nude photos of Melania Trump during a segment about Donald Trump’s 2024 election victory. On the show 60 Minutes, hosts Yevgeny Popov and Olga Skabeyeva discussed Melania’s possible return to the White House, displaying images from her 2000 GQ magazine shoot, including nude photos.
Julia Davis of Russia Media Monitor shared the footage on X, calling the segment unusual. Skabeyeva struggled to hide her amusement as Popov described Melania’s modeling career and said, “Take a look at how she appeared in 2000.”
The broadcast ended with a montage and a voice-over referencing Melania’s past social media post asking, “What does ‘my body, my choice’ really mean?” Melania began modeling in her teens and had a successful international career.
Her GQ shoot resurfaced during Trump’s 2016 campaign.
She has defended her nude modeling, stating it celebrates the human form, comparing it to classical art. In a recent video promoting her memoir, she reaffirmed pride in her work. The Russian broadcast has reignited debate over privacy, media portrayal, and Melania’s role as she returns to public life.
